Still working great!

Since this is AB fit, I assume the go-to is to burn towards gate, drop and orbit MTU and send lights to each of the Cache's?

Avatar
Sonreir Fit uploader 3 months ago

More or less, yeah. I usually fly to the cache and drop the MTU there. The light drone pops all the nodes before I have it attacking any rats. For Marshals, I manually fly to keep up my speed and range and only dive in once they're off the field. For the Overmind I rush straight to the gate and drop MTU there.

Looking at picking this bad boy up for T5s but have a set of mid-grade crystals plugged in already. Think mids will be enough for T5 or rip them out?

Avatar
Sonreir Fit uploader 5 months ago

Mid-grades should be OK for T5, but be ready to overheat and/or pop some drugs. For tanking, the the three rooms to look out for are Vedmaks (more than two Harrowing), Tesseras (especially with five or more Blastlance and Sparklance), and Marshals.

Avatar
Cyber'Tech 8 months ago

how would you even deal with this room https://prnt.sc/12f60xw was testing on sisi, ran few sites and encountered this, managed to kill only 2 neuting ships and that was it.

Avatar
Sonreir Fit uploader 8 months ago

I've had a similar room before. Pilot away from the NPCs to get as much time as possible. Load long range ammo and split one group of yuour Gecko/Valks onto one of the Dissipators (along with your guns) and the second group of drones (along with the Warrior) onto another. Your cap should hold if your Abyssal battery is a good one.

I am running similar fit in T5 exotic. Difference is that i use 5xWASPII (in my drone bay i have 7xvespaII and 5xnavy wasp also). I have capacitor flux coil II instead of one DDA, since diminishing returns are high for 4th DDA. I have done 125 runs so far and feels easy, i do not have any implants or boosters. Karen can scare you from time to time but shield boost is awesome. Do you think i can do T5 gamma with fit i described? I know i need to switch drones for gamma.

Avatar
Sonreir Fit uploader 8 months ago

I do recommend the Geckos. Most enemies in the Abyss don't have large omni resists (excepting a few of the drone battleships) and so you'll get a lot more damage from them than you will from standard heavies. In Gamma this is especially important because all of the NPCs will have a shield hp bonus.

Avatar

I know this has been asked before in terms of Filaments. But what exactly stops this fit from doing Electrical T5's for example? I have been fiddling around with the fit in Pyfa and it seems like it should be able to do it, more easily even.

Avatar
Sonreir Fit uploader 8 months ago

The overall shield buffer is too small in anything except Gamma. In Gamma, Karen will often wreck you down to 10% shield or less. In other weather types, this could be fatal. Similar situation with Marshals.

Ah! I hear you. Thanks for the quick reply mate. I am currently using a Gila to run T3 Gamma, but the Ishtar looks super promising too.

(accidentally posted as an answer reposting because im an idiot.) im feeling like this fit really comes down to piloting and damage application. 90% of the time i live, the rest is either something neuts me before i can kill it in time, or i hit a bad room and take to long. im not sure if its me or not though. any tips?

Avatar
Sonreir Fit uploader 9 months ago

At tier six, all of the fits will require some good piloting. Neuts are high priority targets. All of your character skills should be very high as well.

Avatar
Sonreir Fit uploader 9 months ago

I've done about 200 runs in T5 in this same fit. It takes a lot of practice to use and you can't just jump into it until you know every single enemy and room and how to best deal with it.

Avatar
Neko Motoroshi 9 months ago

clarify for me please if you see this. this fit IS for t5-t6 Gamma? has it been tested for any other sites like electrical maybe?

Avatar
Sonreir Fit uploader 9 months ago

No. It only works in Gamma.

Hello! Do you try another t6? Like Fire/Electro?

Avatar
Sonreir Fit uploader 10 months ago

Exotic or Fire might work, but I would remove the afterburner and replace it with a large shield extender for those weather types.

Avatar
Tanandos 10 months ago

Thanks a lot! Trying today at SISI and it's goes super good :)

Avatar
Sonreir Fit uploader 10 months ago

Glad you like it! :)

Avatar
Tanandos 9 months ago

Well, for now i can say - it's not working. Time is biiiig problem without ab ^_^ Don't even try to do it on live server, i was pretty lucky on SISI.

Avatar
Sonreir Fit uploader 9 months ago

Piloting will need to be taken into account. Without a prop mod, the ship definitely needs to be flown differently.

Avatar
Meros Fera 10 months ago

How do you coop with a heavy neut room, as example 3 starving damaviks and 2 starving vedmaks? Do you ignore the harrowing and hope your tank holds?

Avatar
Sonreir Fit uploader 10 months ago

I run an abyssal battery with high stats. I'm not immune to neuting, but three Damas and two Vedmaks is fine. Target the Vedmaks first with all the drones and then split damage against the remaining Damaviks (one Gecko and one Valk per Dama). If it looks like your cap is going to break, trigger the assault damage control and boost your shield to full and then turn off the shield booster and it will let your cap refill a bit. If you're stuck in a room with VERY high neuting (starving Leshaks, draining Marshals, or 8+ scyllas and ephials) try to keep distance while your drones do their thing. Get familiar with enemy types as it's sometimes better to use Berserkers instead of Gecko/Valk combo.

This fit is listed as T6, but i can only see T5 runs in the list. Is T6 correct? Thank you!

Avatar
Sonreir Fit uploader 10 months ago

Yes. It works well for T6 (I've done maybe 40 runs?), but I usually run T5 just because I'm lazy and the T5 are a lot more chill.

Avatar
Sonreir Fit uploader 10 months ago

Also, I always forget to change the Tier when I submit my runs and it always remembers the last used.

Gamma
Description

Go for close to 2K GJ capacity and over 30% cap warfare protection and the Abyssal battery. Low CPU will also be needed to fit.

The Geckos should each be paired with one Valk in your groupings, with the Warrior flying on it's own. Focus fire on neuting ships (Scylla, Cynabal, Knights, Battleships, etc) and then split each Gecko group onto different targets for faster clearing. The Warrior is used to pop the nodes so your MTU can vacuum everything up.

Can facetank most spawns and ADC only sees use every 3 runs or so.

For drugs, you'll want to use the hardshell and blue pill all of the time.
